Pickled brussel sprouts

Ingredients
  • Water, 1 cup
  • Vinegar, 1 cup
  • Salt, 1 tsbp
  • Sugar, 1 tsp
  • Spices (chili flakes, bay leaf, pepper corn)
  • Brussel sprouts, halved or quartered
Instructions
  1. Bring water, vinegar, salt and sugar to a boil
  2. Line bottom of the jars with spices and put cut sprouts on top
  3. Pour boiling water to cover sprouts and let cool to room temperature
  4. Leave at least overnight and enjoy
