French apple tart

Made this beauty for a pre-xmas gathering of friends. Its not very difficult and visually impressive. Mango tart for summer, apple tarts for winter.

Cutting fruits into thin slices is therapeutic. Leaving the thinnest slices for the centre allows them to bend more into petal shapes.
