Orange ginger miso salmon

6 weeks of CTU and 1 week of laryngitis later, I’m finally back (sort of). Hosting a dinner for four calls for new experiment in the kitchen.

No Dinner party is complete without a nice cheese plate. I finally got to use my cheese knifes to compose this instagram worthy photo.

Salmon is easy to cook and requires little effort. I paired it with some yellow squash I bought from a fruit stand off the country road and quinoa.

Ingredients
  • salon fillet
  • orange juice, 3 oranges
  • ginger powder, 1 tsp
  • miso paste, 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. preheat oven to 200
  2. mix orange juice, ginger power and miso paste in a pot and reduce the volume by 2/3
  3. season the salmon fillet and cover with orange juice mixture
  4. bake for 10 min
  5. brush with more sauce, sprinkle bread crumbs and broil for 5 min
